PSC Monthly Sales Report – November 2007
Hsinchu, Taiwan－Powerchip Semiconductor Corporation (PSC, ticker 5346) announced unaudited net sales of 4.313 billion NT dollars for November 2007, representing a 10 % drop month on month.
PSC vice President and Spokesperson Mr. Eric Tang stated that even though PSC shipments had increased, November DRAM prices continued their rapid decline, resulting in falling monthly revenues. However as DRAM prices have recently begun to rebound, due to lower downstream inventory levels as well as improving demand. At the same time PSC has begun to increase shipments of 70nm products, furthermore production has already begun at Rexchip, and thus PSC is optimistic regarding the future industry outlook.
