PSC Monthly Sales Report ¡V April, 2007
Hsinchu, Taiwan¡ÐPowerchip Semiconductor Corporation (PSC, ticker 5346) announced unaudited net sales of 6.21 billion NT dollars for April 2007, a 3% increase compared to 2006.
PSC Vice President and Spokesperson, Eric Tang stated that, even though April shipments have slightly increased, monthly DRAM pricing fell by about 30%, resulting in a 22% monthly revenue drop. As DRAM pricing will shortly begin to bottom, customers demand has been improving, furthermore as production in Fab 12M continues to increase; we are maintaining a cautiously optimistic view.
