PSC Monthly Sales Report ¡V March, 2007
Hsinchu, Taiwan¡ÐPowerchip Semiconductor Corporation (PSC, ticker 5346) announced unaudited net sales of 8.016 billion NT dollars for March 2007, an 59.17% increase compared to 2006.
PSC Vice President and Spokesperson, Eric Tang stated that, owing to the bottoming of DRAM pricing in March, thus resulting a 13% drop in monthly sales. However April DRAM prices have begun to show signs of a rebound on top of improving demand from customers. Furthermore Flash prices have also begun to improve, thus slowing any further capacity conversion. However as Q2 is traditionally the weak period, PSC is maintaining a cautiously optimistic outlook.
